Welcome to the TiCSA Tourism Snapshot for September 2022
On August 30, I joined over 80 tourism industry leaders from across Australia for the Tourism Jobs Summit in Canberra. Hosted by Senator the Hon Don Farrell, Federal Minister for Tourism and Trade and AusTrade, we discussed the overwhelming challenges the industry faces due to workforce and skills shortages.
Our outcomes from this were considered at the National Jobs and Skills Summit, which resulted in a number of immediate actions to alleviate the pressure of nationwide workforce challenges.
