Welcome to our latest newsletter, the TiCSA Tourism Snapshot, for March 2023.

The 2022 Qantas Australian Tourism Awards were held last week in Sydney, and we are pleased to have seven of South Australia’s tourism businesses recognised as among the nation’s best.

The Adelaide Zoo won the coveted Gold for Major Tourism Attractions, placing them as the best in the nation. The Cedars Hahndorf and Woodhouse Activity Centre received silver in their categories, and bronze medals went to Bendleby Ranges, Sequoia, Redwing Farm and Eos by SkyCity. You can read more here.

Congratulations to these businesses, and a very well done to all South Australian finalists who represented our state’s amazing tourism industry on the national stage.

Significantly, the South Australian Tourism Commission is undertaking a regional tourism review. Specifically, this includes a comprehensive review of South Australia’s current regional tourism structure and working relationships and provides recommendations for the sustainability of South Australia’s regional tourism structure. I encourage you to participate in the review through this online survey, as the outcomes of this review will impact operators across the state.
