TICSA Tourism Barometer Update: July to September Quarter 2021
This report demonstrates what tourism businesses have been telling us – that it was an extremely challenging quarter as the lockdowns in Victoria and New South Wales took hold in July 2021.
The tourism Business Activity Index dropped 82 points (56%) to 64, coming off a high of 146 points last quarter.
Business Outlook for the current quarter also dropped below 100 points. And while Business Outlook for the 12 months also eroded, the data also signals a higher degree of optimism for the longer term.
