Visitor Information Centres
Tourism Industry Council SA manages the accreditation of Visitor Information Centres across South Australia.
Visitor Information Centre Accreditation raises the standards of information services and assures visitors that staff are well-trained, knowledgeable, and unbiased in recommending and providing correct information.
Only accredited Visitor Information Centres can display the trademarked blue and yellow italicised ‘I’ sign, which can be used locally, nationally, and internationally as a symbol of quality.
South Australian Visitor Centres are a great source of information and inspiration, providing visitors with quality service and reliable insight into what experiences and products are on offer. For tourism businesses, local visitor centres can provide critical on-ground marketing opportunities and promotion, networking, and support.
