First of all, I would like to welcome David Koch as the new Chair of the South Australian Tourism Commission (SATC) board. David brings a wealth of experience, leadership, and passion to benefit South Australia’s tourism industry, and we are excited about the vision and direction he will bring. It’s great to see SATC putting on an Industry Webinar on this Wednesday 7 August. I highly encourage all who can to join this online event. See further details below.
Good luck to all the entrants in this year’s South Australian Tourism Awards as they put the final touches to their submissions. The Gala Dinner will be held on Friday 1 November – stay tuned for further details about how to purchase your ticket to the tourism industry’s night of nights.
Last week our team went to Kangaroo Island and Yorke Peninsula to host the Tourism Round Up and Tourism Fundamentals networking events. The upcoming Tourism Round Ups will be in Limestone Coast, specifically Robe and Mount Gambier, and these events are great opportunities for you to connect with your tourism peers and receive industry updates.
