NATURE-BASED TOURISM CO-INVESTMENT FUND

The South Australian Department of Environment and Water (DEW) $5 million Nature-based Tourism Co-investment Fund is a pilot grant program designed to assist eligible businesses and organisations to partner with the state government to deliver ecologically sensitive tourism experiences and products in South Australia.

The fund is part of the government’s Parks 2025 Strategy and is intended to provide the stimulus businesses may need to activate or build on existing ecologically sensitive tourism offerings in the state’s national parks, reserves, botanic gardens, and Crown land.

If you are a tourism operator, you can apply for a grant of between $20,000 and $1 million. To be eligible for a grant you will need contribute at least half of the total eligible financial costs of the project and also contribute to a conservation dividend.

Applications are open until June 2022 or until the fund is exhausted.

While the fund is still active, TiCSA will continue to offer ‘Road Test Your Idea’ sessions and ‘Grant Application Review’ sessions for these grants.

Please contact info@ticsa.com.au if you would like to discuss booking one of these sessions.
